At MALAT, every piece is created and prepared with intention. Our collections are produced in limited quantities, and each order receives personal attention before it leaves us.

Because of the limited nature of our production and the care involved in preparing every order, all purchases are final.

All Sales Are Final

MALAT does not accept returns, exchanges, refunds or cancellations for change of mind, incorrect size selection, personal preference or any other reason after an order has been confirmed.

We therefore encourage you to carefully review the product description, measurements, sizing information, fabric details and product images before placing your order.

If you are unsure about sizing, fit, colour, fabric or any other detail, please contact us before placing your order. We will be happy to assist you in making the right choice.

A Piece Prepared Personally for You

MALAT is intentionally produced in limited quantities rather than as conventional mass-market clothing.

"After your order is placed, I, Tasbeeha Qudsia, personally contact you to confirm your order and learn more about the person choosing to own a MALAT piece. This personal confirmation is part of our approach to ensuring that each MALAT piece finds its intended owner. Once the order has been personally confirmed and accepted, it is considered final and cannot be returned, exchanged, refunded or cancelled."

Before your order leaves us, each piece is personally inspected and packed by the founder.

We carefully examine the garment, including its stitching, construction and individual threads, to make sure it meets our expectations before it is sent to you.

This is part of what makes the MALAT experience personal. Your piece is not simply picked from a large production line and placed into a box. It is individually looked after before it reaches you.

MALAT Certificate of Ownership

Every MALAT order includes a MALAT Certificate of Ownership as a personal mark of your connection with the piece.

The certificate is intended to make the experience of owning MALAT feel more personal and considered, especially given the limited nature of our pieces.

Complimentary Additions

As a small gesture from MALAT, your order may also include complimentary MALAT bookmarks and stickers.

These are gifts included with your order and are not separately purchased items.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Because each order is prepared with care and our pieces are available in limited quantities, we begin processing orders as soon as they are confirmed.

For this reason, orders cannot be changed or cancelled once they have been confirmed.

Please make sure that your shipping information, selected size and other order details are correct before completing your purchase.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Every MALAT piece is inspected before it is packed and dispatched.

However, if your order arrives with a manufacturing defect, significant damage that occurred during delivery, or you receive an item different from the one you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.

• Clear photographs of the item
• Clear photographs of the packaging, where relevant

We will personally review the matter and, if the issue is confirmed to be our responsibility, we will work with you on an appropriate resolution.

Please do not send an item back without contacting us first.

Items That Do Not Qualify

Issues resulting from normal wear and tear, improper washing or care, accidental damage, misuse, alterations, or failure to follow the care instructions provided with the product are not considered manufacturing defects.

We also cannot accept claims based solely on a change of mind, personal preference, colour perception due to different screens, or choosing an incorrect size.

Our Approach

MALAT is not built around producing as many pieces as possible. Each collection is deliberately limited, and every garment is given attention before it becomes yours.

When you purchase a MALAT piece, you are purchasing something that has been personally inspected, carefully prepared and intentionally made available in limited quantities.
